Sibutramine Phentermine Pill
Sibutramine is a leading appetite suppressant also know as sibutramine hydrochloride monohydrate. Sibutramine is the medical name for the anorectic drug and has many brand names like Reductil and Meridia.
Sibutramine is mainly intended for users who are heavily overweight, and have a BMI of 30 or over. The pill may sometimes be prescribed to those with a lower BMI, but is mainly intended for those with severe weight management problems.
Sibutramine is particularly effective and mostly recommended for patients who have problems dieting or maintaining a healthy weight. The pill works by reducing the amount of food the user needs, their daily calorie intake, and helps promote safe steady weight loss.
Sibutramine comes in a capsule form and should be taken just once a day, in the morning before breakfast. The pills are either blue, white or yellow in colour, and they come in a variety of strengths - 5, 10 or 15mg.
Patients are often started off at the lowest dosage (5mg), which may be increased over time, depending on the amount of weight you lose.
Like many of the leading chemical based appetite suppressants on the market, Sibutramine works in a very similar way to amphetamines. The pill effectively targets the nervous system, and changes the signals to the brain. The body no longer thinks that it's hungry, and the user feels as though they no longer need as much food.
Like with all kinds of chemical slimming aids, Sibutramine can only be used safely for a short period of time. The longest any patient should use Sibutramine is around three months.
Many patients use the pill for shorter periods, and still see excellent results. Using Sibutramine for more than 3 months can be dangerous and may lead to a dependency, and users are likely to experience some form of withdraw from the drug.
Like any drug, there are a number of side effects and risks involved. When using Sibutramine you may experience some of the following - insomnia, muscle pain, stomach pains, headaches, dizziness, a dry mouth, constipation and diarrhoea.
Sibutramine is a strong suppressant and isn't for everyone, so be sure to speak to your doctor or your pharmacist, and read the full Sibutramine instructions and information, before you start using it.
